Article marketing’s success has led to a disturbing trend of quantity over quality. Regardless, the content of an article is still an extremely important component for attracting (and keeping) an audience. If you wish to divert people from searching the internet for information to your writing, you must keep your articles interesting reads as well as informative.

Before writing, you can benefit from doing a little detective work on using keywords and phrases. These will be what your readers are likely to type into a search engine. A balance must be struck, though, between keywords in an article and content. With too many, the article may sound unnatural, while with too few, search engines (the readers) would be unlikely to pick up on the topic of your writing.
The very first step would be to proofread the article yourself. Mistakes such as spelling errors, grammar, or bad handwriting will reflect badly on you as a writer or on your company and superiors. Enlist your peers as editors, such as friends, family members or colleagues and take heed to their comments or suggestions. The smallest difference can lead to a vastly superior article.
It is important to have variety without rambling. You should keep your articles short and to the point, so that the reader’s attention is held.
